It has a PVC-bases closed cell flotation foam that helps prevent water absorption if cut or punctured. The flexible vinyl coating provided resistance against UV light, hydrocarbon, mildew, fading, tears, abrasions, caustics, acids and drilling mud. The vest includes a polypropylene webbing system, chest strap and flexible flotation pads designed to suppport secure positioning and freedom of movement
